This will be posted to 18,500 businesses in Dorset over the next few days and includes guidance in the case of a no deal or deal. This information is also on the Chamber website in the Brexit section - Brexit Support.

SECTOR SPECIFIC BREXIT GUIDES

We have also produced sector specific factsheets for:

Farming

Financial Services

Food and Drink

Retail

Manufacturing and Engineering

Tourism

These can all be found on the Dorset Chamber website - Brexit Support.

LEGAL HELPLINE

We are offering a legal advice service, offering advice for businesses with questions regarding the implications of a no deal. Businesses wishing to use the service should call 01202 786183 and ask for Lucy Taylor. This service is open until 31st October 2019.

SOCIAL MEDIA CAMPAIGN AND WEBSITE

We are running a social media campaign to raise awareness of the support available. We are also offering individuals the opportunity people to sign up for a new specific Brexit e-newsletter. In addition, the Brexit Support section of the Dorset Chamber website also hosts other advice and guidance from a wide range of sources, including Gov.UK, the British Chambers of Commerce and the HSE.

BREXIT ADVISER

From 14th November, we will have a dedicated Brexit Adviser for 12 months, delivering a Brexit Helpline and a signposting advice and support service to help improve the resilience of Dorset businesses as we go through Brexit. This service is free and open to businesses across Dorset. Businesses seeking support should contact Dorset Chamber on 01202 71800 and choose the option “Business Gateway”. Alternatively contact gatewaydcci.co.uk

Please note all of this support is free and available to all businesses in Dorset and not limited to Dorset Chamber members. We would ask you to share this information within your networks.
