Airbus Helicopters supply chain opportunity
WEAF are working with ADS to share this opportunity. There is an opportunity for SW companies to be featured in a capability brochure for Airbus Helicopters. This is an initiative is being led by the ADS team based in Toulouse.
Company submissions will be aggregated into a UK wide rotorcraft supply chain capability brochure, will present to Airbus Helicopters France senior procurement team in Q1 2022. This follows a discussion in October 2021 where Airbus Helicopters shared with ADS their need to better understand U.K. capability as they expand their manufacturing footprint.
In order to be featured in the brochure, please use one-page submission template which should include the following information:-
Focus on specifically what you would offer Airbus Helicopters
Provide quantitative evidence (performance, turnover)
ADS's aim is to provide feedback on submissions in early 2022 with the intention to short-list suppliers of interest for a more direct engagement with Airbus Helicopters, as determined by quality of submissions. In the interim, our team based in Toulouse will continue to engage with Airbus Helicopters senior team.
Please note that WEAF is aware of the potential for a UK MOD selection process for a new helicopter. WEAF will work with all potential suppliers to the UK MOD to ensure a fair outcome for the UK supply chain.
