Young Enterprise is a charity that works directly with young people and their educators to develop the vital skills and mindsets needed to maximise future opportunities and make a positive contribution to their communities and wider society. We believe that all young people should be given the opportunity to apply learning in real and relevant contexts in order to develop transferable skills and enterprising mindsets.
We know that these meaningful opportunities, combined with appropriate support, to develop and apply an enterprising mindset and skills, changes young people’s futures, but this can only be achieved with your help. Could you spare a few hours to support on one of the days below and share your local career opportunities and pathways please?
Young Enterprise are very grateful to BCP for funding which enables young people in local schools to access programmes. In order to maximise the impact of these opportunities, for both the young people and your sector, we need more volunteers to share their career journey and information about their industry. Can you spare a few hours to support a structured delivery at one of the following schools in BCP, or neighbouring Dorset (Dorset NOT funded by BCP):
Please contact cath.jacksy-e.org.uk or Hannah.cooky-e.org.uk for more details or to confirm which day’s you would like to attend.
