The engineering and manufacturing sector in BCP and across Dorset is brimming with potential. BCP Council Leader, Councillor Millie Earl, attended and spoke at the recent DEMC (Dorset Engineering and Manufacturing Cluster) business breakfast on 30 August, and in this short video, explains the importance of supporting the sector and solving the challenges that it continues to face.
The council’s Economic Development (ED) team has dedicated support for engineering and manufacturing from sector lead, Duncan Newman. ED Business Officer, Michelle Dempster, organised the recent event and continues to encourage regular collaboration, support and innovation for the DEMC members and representatives.
