National Manufacturing Day - July 2022
We are pleased to let you know that planning for the Make UK National Manufacturing Day for 2022 is now underway! Make UK will be encouraging manufacturers to open their doors to local communities to present the opportunities in the sector to all ages – celebrating what is made here in the UK. We are now looking for members to step forward in support as founding backers of the project. Please email lwilkinsmakeuk.org in the first instance if you would like to be involved.
We will then design a flyer for businesses, large and small, all sub sectors, to follow suit and sign up to take part. From there, we will look to have a micro web site designed which will showcase company logos for the landing page with a click through to individual company information (an opportunity to tell people about your company, what you are offering on National Manufacturing Day and for the public to sign up to come along).
We will also work with media, government, educational institutions, catapults, IET, LEPs, local communities and local government. This would involve an online pledge wall showcasing members taking part. If you would like to take part, please do get in touch.
