Win a chance to meet the Red Arrows! Be a part of the Bournemouth Air Festival by designing your own paper aeroplane and win the chance to meet the Red Arrows pilots. The Red Arrows wow the crowds each year at the air festival with their amazing loop the loops. Now it’s your turn to make an impression by creating your own incredible aeroplane. The winners will receive an invitation to a top-secret pilot meet and greet at the festival. All schools will be invited to an online question and answer session with the Red Arrows too!

The runners up will also see their designs featured in this year’s STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) marquee from Thursday August 31 to Sunday 3 September.

Make sure you come along to the STEM tent located near the RAF Village on the East Cliff and be inspired by all on display!

Decide how you will make your paper aeroplane – you should consider how to fold the paper to ensure it flies, the use of colours and design and how these might link to the idea of flight, the air show and the area you live in. 2.
