Through a collaboration between the IMechE and Bournemouth University, funding is available to support Dorset’s small and medium-sized businesses in hosting a placement student.
SMEs participating in the scheme can benefit from a £2000 bursary for each undergraduate student they recruit on a placement of 30 weeks from Bournemouth University’s IMechE accredited Mechanical Engineering and Design Engineering degrees.
Bournemouth University was recently ranked 6th for General Engineering in the Guardian 2020 University League tables.
