What is the Growth Grant?
For Dorset businesses with growth ambitions - Small or Medium sized businesses who are in the planning stages of a project that will lead to business growth, either by creating new jobs, creating new products or services or improving business processes and productivity.
Growth Grants are match funded 3:1 by your business and you can apply for £5,000 to £10,000.
_ For example, a minimum contribution of 75% of the total eligible project costs is required from your business. Hence the minimum project size is £20,000, but for example if the total project costs are £40,000 or over then the maximum grant of £10,000 is available.
_ You will need to be a registered business based in Dorset and have been trading viably.
_ Your project must be complete by December 2022.

Further eligibility:
_ DGH will not support planned business activities that do not add to the net growth of the Dorset economy by merely displacing the activity of other local businesses.
_ The business is an SME – with less than 250 staff and annual turnover less than €50 million.
_ You don’t work in these sectors - Agriculture (primary production & processing of agricultural products, banking and insurance (inc. brokers), fisheries and aquaculture, steel production, shipbuilding, synthetic fibres, public sector or publicly owned organisations.
_ You must not have been in financial difficulty prior to 31st December 2019.
