Dorset Council’s UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF) 25-26 and Rural England Prosperity Fund (REPF) Business Grants open soon.
Following the success of UKSPF and REPF business grants last year, an extension by government until 31 March 2026 provides for further local investment.
UKSPF 2025-26 proactively supports delivery of the government’s five national missions, with a specific focus towards productivity, economic growth and upskilling.
We have funds totalling £810,283 for grants covering business productivity, upskilling, REPF and Startup support. A mix of both capital and revenue funding is available.
Grants will be considered if they facilitate growth, promote innovation and increase productivity, together with the creation of high skilled, high waged jobs in Dorset businesses. Eligible activity could include, but is not limited to:
- investment in new production methods
- new machinery
- staff training programmes/up-skilling staff
- net zero innovation
You can apply for:
- UKSPF/REPF local business grants between £10,000 and £40,000 with 100% match funding of grant value.
- Upskilling grants between £500- £4,000 per organisation requiring a 30% match fund.
- Startup grant between £500-£4000 requiring a 30% match fund.
All projects must complete before 31 January 2026.
Local Business grants open Monday 1 September 2025
