The hugely popular Made for Space conference is returning in 2022 with an exciting insight into innovation and technology in the space sector.
New dates have been announced for Made for Space 2022. Join us on 6th & 7th July for an exciting two-day intensive conference exploring the opportunities and possibilities for manufacturing within the global space sector.
Made For Space brings together international experts from both the space and advanced manufacturing sectors who will show you how new manufacturing technologies and processes can help the progression of the Third Space Age, including aspects of digital engineering, automation and robotics, artificial intelligence, additive manufacturing and more.
This year’s highly anticipated conference is proudly hosted by the Manufacturing Technology Centre and Satellite Applications Catapult, and will focus on key emerging technologies and their alignment to the Government’s National Space Strategy.

Made for Space will be the first in-person space event at the MTC since 2019 and we'll be joined by technology experts and manufacturing leaders from around the globe.
Whether you’d prefer to join in-person and enjoy live demonstrators and networking opportunities, or virtually using our live streaming platform to watch speakers and panel discussions, we have suitable ticket options for everyone.
Please note: the presentation and panel sessions will be hosted and live streamed from the MTC lecture theatre within the conference venue. The theatre currently has limited capacity to ensure a sufficient level of social distancing. Premium tickets include a guaranteed seat within the lecture theatre for all sessions. Some standard ticket delegates may be required to watch speaker sessions from a live streaming area in the venue but we will endeavour to get everyone in the lecture theatre where possible.
Premium Ticket
Includes in-person access to the venue. Watch all lecture theatre talks and panels, sponsors and exhibitors, live demonstration programme, networking opportunities, MTC workshop tour, and an evening 3-course dinner on the first day of the conference. The dinner location will be confirmed soon but is currently planned to be at Coombe Abbey, a short drive (2.4 miles) from the MTC.
The premium ticket will guarantee you a seat within the main lecture theatre for all sessions.
Standard Ticket
Includes in-person access to the venue. Watch all lecture theatre talks and panels, sponsors and exhibitors, live demonstration programme, networking opportunities, and an MTC workshop tour.
The main theatre has a limited capacity to ensure safe social distancing. We will endeavour to get everyone in the lecture theatre where possible but some standard ticket holders may be required to watch speaker sessions from a live streaming area in the venue.
Virtual Only Ticket
Includes virtual only access to all lecture theatre talks and panels via our virtual webinar of the conference. Access will be available using the Hopin platform. Please note that no access will be possible to MTC workshop tours or live demonstrations taking place in the exhibition areas of the venue.
Registration and Tours
Registration is essential for anyone wishing to attend Made for Space or receive the joining instructions to join virtually. We only have limited places available, so book early to avoid disappointment.
If you would like to attend a tour of the MTC workshop during the conference, it is essential that you bring photographic ID on the day. This is a security measure and is required for you to gain access to the MTC building. This should be in the form of a valid passport or driving licence.
Due to MTC security requirements, we require a minimum of 20 working days to allow entry for Russian and Chinese nationals.
