                        About Us
Established in 1947, Parvalux Electric Motors has grown to become the UK’s largest manufacturer of fractional horsepower electric motors and gearboxes. We’ve built over twenty million units and Parvalux products are trusted by our manufacturing partners and their customers in over 80 countries.
It’s a heritage of which we’re justifiably proud as we continue to drive the innovation that is enabling designers and engineers to differentiate tomorrow’s products in some of the most competitive markets on the planet.
You might not have heard of us but Parvalux is the power behind the biggest stairlift and patient hoist brands; we provide mission-critical power for wiper systems on high-speed trains and ocean-going ships and our motors are used extensively in outdoor sport, leisure and agriculture, where capability and reliability are non-negotiable.
We offer an extensive product range and a willingness to modify our products, even on small quantity orders, to create the bespoke solutions our customers need. From simply adding an encoder or brake, painting it to your brand colours or prototyping a new unit from scratch; we’re here to help.
Parvalux is proudly part of the maxon family.
