The Manufacturing Technology Centre works with manufacturers in Dorset to improve their productivity of their existing operations and help them embrace the latest technology to maintain tomorrow’s growth. Our team provides direct specialist support for manufacturing businesses and, Innovate UK REACH grants are available for eligible SMEs working with us on a match-funding basis. We recognise that businesses cannot stand still in an ever competitive environment. We can offer a range of services to transform business performance with a dedicated team of experts with years of industry experience in our Manufacturing Support Services team. Our experienced teams work directly with manufacturers to improve quality, cost and delivery performance. As part of the Manufacturing Technology Centre, we can introduce manufacturers to tomorrow’s technologies and help them de-risk their implementation. Our approach ensures rapid and sustainable growth for the businesses we work with, by delivering end-to-end manufacturing systems solutions. We start with a fully funded line walk. Our initial free-of-charge business review can quickly identify opportunities for cost saving, de-risking and accelerating the introduction of technology and improved processes into your business. By the end of the line walk, we will summarise and prioritise these opportunities with the business to agree on the support required.
