Established in 1926, Charles Trent is a top 5 UK automotive recycling company with a turnover of £30m and over 200 employees. With >95 years' experience, Charles Trent remains a family run business with a corporate mind. Operating across the whole of the UK, we collect, store, process and auction >40,000 vehicles per annum, from end-of-life vehicles to salvage vehicles on behalf of major insurance and fleet companies, and many more. We are proud to say we recycle >96% of all vehicles processed.
Charles Trent leads the way in recycling vehicle parts and sells these parts worldwide. Winners of the ‘Solent 250 2018/19 Growth Story of the Year’ award, this part of the business has grown 40% year on year for the last 3 years.
We have an ambitious 5-year growth plan and are making significant investments across our operations including into our recently opened, state of the art Distribution Centre at Holton Heath, and our world-leading production facility in Poole which will be operational in 08/2022.
