As an experienced academic leader with over 20 years of success in academia and industry, I currently serve as Head of Department of Design & Engineering at Bournemouth University. I have a proven ability in driving growth, leading complex organisational change, and championing diversity. Managing over 40 FTEs and a multi-million-pound budget, I have overseen substantial growth, significantly increasing student intake in Engineering programmes. Under my leadership, the department consistently ranks in the top three (top sextile) for NSS within the University, establishing itself as a leader in academic excellence.
