Started out with an air engineering apprenticeship in the Royal Navy and served 23 years as an Air Engineering Artificer in the Fleet Air Arm of the Royal Navy. On leaving the service I spent 10 years in Engineering SME's as manager then technical director. In 2022 joined the FE sector in my current role as Learning Manager for Engineering at Bournemouth & Poole College.
