WE-Zero Virtual ZEROe Zero Emission Technology Summit 2022

About this event

Following on from WEAF's highly successful H2 SW 21, we are pleased to announce ZEROe SW 22.

Introduction

The recent COP26 conference has highlighted to the world the need to reduce Greenhouse Gas emissions.

The South West Aerospace and Advanced Engineering sector which is represented by WEAF is committed to helping to support regional development of infrastructure and technologies which can deliver ZERO emissions across Aerospace and a range of associated sectors.

Based on the growing interest in the potential for a hydrogen economy. WEAF held a virtual H2 SW summit in 2021.

With the launch of the West of England Zero emissions cluster, “WE-ZERO” WEAF is working to bring together stakeholders involved with the development of the Net Zero emission eco system under regional collaborative cluster.

Recently Airbus announced it was speeding up its investigations into the possible use of Hydrogen, as a clean fuel which could slash aviation emissions, including a complete transition from conventional jet fuel around 2050. Bristol Airport is quickly developing its plans for sustainable aviation

WEAF follows up H2SW with ZEROe virtual conference for 2022.

The follow up to H2SW on the 2nd - 4th February 2021. The event will hear from speakers involved in the 2021 event to understand what progress has been made in the part 12 months and together with a range of new speakers EAF is confident that the event will give an update snapshot of the progress the SW is making towards sustainable mobility. The event will be an online event taking place over the three consecutive periods from approx. 9.30am -13.30pm (TBC).
